For more than 18 years, I have worked inside complex manufacturing environments helping organizations improve performance through stronger leadership systems, organizational alignment, and operational consistency.

I started as a plant HR leader—working directly with supervisors, managers, plant leaders, and associates to solve real operational problems tied to execution.

Not theory—daily operations.

Later, I moved into enterprise and global leadership roles, helping design the larger systems behind performance: organizational structure, succession planning, leadership standards, talent strategy, workforce planning, and execution across multi-site operations.

I have supported plant leaders, senior executives, and global leadership teams across 34 sites in 15 countries, helping connect leadership decisions to measurable operational results.

This work has always centered on the same question:

How do supervisors, managers, and plant leadership operate every day—and how do we make that execution consistent?

That is the work behind ZMC.

Attendance.
Accountability.
Communication.

Fairness.
Trust.
Leadership consistency.

Key Accomplishments and Measurable Wins

  • Built new Hydrogen business from concept to operation, scaling from 2 to 43 employees in 18 months

  • Achieved 100% critical talent retention during post-acquisition integration of a 94-person operation

  • Led $600K commercial transformation resulting in 26% sales capability improvement and 7% YOY sales growth

  • Increased internal promotions by 43% and reduced high-potential turnover by 57% YOY

  • Reduced absenteeism by 36% through leadership consistency and organizational fairness improvements

Why ZMC Exists

Most leadership development fails for one reason:

The issue is not training.

The issue is execution.

What I kept seeing:

  • Strong training, little lasting behavior change

  • Supervisors returning to old habits

  • Inconsistent manager coaching

  • Leadership standards changing by shift or by leader

  • Recurring operational problems that never fully improved

What actually creates change:

  • Clear leadership expectations

  • Skill development tied to real work

  • Coaching and reinforcement

  • Peer learning and accountability

  • Structured execution rhythms

What proved this approach:

At one manufacturing site, we applied this approach and saw:

36% reduction in absenteeism

along with stronger communication, improved trust, and leadership promotions across the site.

Most companies do not need more leadership training.

They need a leadership operating system.

Who We Serve

ZMC works best with mid-sized manufacturers where leadership consistency directly impacts operational performance.

These are typically complex, multi-site operations where supervisor execution, manager coaching, and plant leadership alignment directly affect Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth.

Primary Focus Region:

  • Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky

This works best when:

  • Multi-site operations

  • 500–2,000 employees

  • Complex manufacturing environments

  • Growth expectations tied to operational execution

  • Leadership inconsistency affecting Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, or Growth

This work is built for organizations where leadership execution is a business issue—not just a training issue.

Why “Partners” Matters

ZMC Partners is intentionally named.

While I lead the work as Founder and Principal Consultant, this business was never built alone.

“Partners” reflects the people who make this work possible—my wife and our children—who provide the support, foundation, and purpose behind everything we are building.

It also reflects how I believe meaningful work should happen: through service, collaboration, and responsibility.

Strong businesses are built when people contribute in ways that create lasting value—for operations, for families, and for the communities those businesses support.

This business exists to create that kind of impact.

This is technically a solo business, but never a solo effort.

That is why we are ZMC Partners.
